RAVEN'S BEACH VOLLEYBALL
FALL- REGULAR BEACH SEASON:
Raven's Beach Volleyball is a "club" sport (not CIF) played in the Fall. The club practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Fall near 25th Street Beach in Del Mar and at the CCA Campus Beach Courts. From the pool of players, five (5) varsity doubles teams and multiple JV doubles teams complete weekly against other high school club teams in locations around San Diego. The season starts in early September and lasts until playoffs (generally in the end of October or beginning of November).
Tryouts take place in the end of August . CCA Athletic Clearance is not necessary, but participants should be in overall good athletic condition and health. Check back to this page for exact dates.
This is a "pay-to-play" club sport. All participants must pay the fee to cover the cost of coaching, league fees, uniforms, equipment, etc. Participation in the club is open to boys attending Canyon Crest Academy (9-12 grade). Tryouts are held to limit the number of participants due to limited court space and team participation limits in the local league. Tryout results and team placement is at the sole discretion of the Raven's Beach Coach.

2021 PRACTICE INFORMATION:
2021 COMMITTED PLAYERS: Please complete two online forms to finalize your participation on the team:
- Practices this year will be Mondays & Thursdays 3:00-5:30pm. Get to the courts as quickly as you can if you have class until 3pm!
- Practices will be at 25th Street in Del Mar and at the CCA Campus Courts (location of each week's practice will be shared with players each week by coaches). Players must arrange for their own rides. Transportation is not provided (for practices or games).
- Games start on September 9th. Home Games will be played both at 25th Street in Del Mar, as well as at the CCA Campus Courts
- Away games are at various high school locations and beaches around the county.
- Games are only on Mondays or Thursdays and replace practice once the season starts.
- Players must arrange for their own rides. Transportation is not provided.
